Swarupnagar Assembly constituency, located in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, is reserved for the Scheduled Caste community.
In the 2021 Assembly elections, the constituency had a total of 2,46,109 electors, with 2,11,804 valid votes cast. Trinamool Congress candidate Bina Mondal won the seat with 99,784 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Brindaban Sarkar finished second with 64,984 votes, losing by a margin of 34,800 votes.
In 2016, Swarupnagar had 2,25,291 electors and recorded 1,93,161 valid votes. Trinamool Congress candidate Bina Mandal retained the seat with 93,807 votes. Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate Dhiman Sarkar came second with 81,866 votes, losing by 11,941 votes.
During the 2011 Assembly elections, the constituency had 1,96,006 electors and 1,70,899 valid votes. Trinamool Congress candidate Bina Mondal won with 83,641 votes, while CPI(M) candidate Siva Pada Das secured 76,227 votes and lost by 7,414 votes.
