Minakhan, a block-level town in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, is a Scheduled Caste-reserved Assembly constituency.
In the 2021 Assembly elections, the Minakhan constituency had a total of 2,36,528 electors, with 2,12,352 valid votes cast. Trinamool Congress candidate Usha Rani Mondal won the seat with 1,09,818 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Jayanta Mondal finished second with 53,988 votes, losing by a margin of 55,830 votes.
In the 2016 Assembly elections, the constituency had 2,09,028 electors and recorded 1,85,101 valid votes. Trinamool Congress candidate Usha Rani Mondal also won that election with 1,03,210 votes. CPI(M) candidate Dinabandhu Mondal secured 60,612 votes and lost by 42,598 votes.
