Malayalam TV stars are celebrating Ramesh Pisharody’s victory in the Assembly elections, with many taking to social media to congratulate him. Actor-turned-politician Pisharody has won the Palakkad Assembly seat, defeating Sobha Surendran by a margin of 13,147 votes.Soon after the announcement, social media was flooded with wishes for Palakkad’s new MLA. TV host and Pisharody’s former on-screen wife in Badai Bungalow, Arya, expressed her excitement about having the family’s first-ever MLA.
Singer Rimi Tomy shared a humorous note on Instagram, writing, “My horoscope said that I would have an MLA as my friend—never thought it would be Pishu.”
Aswathy Sreekanth also wished Pisharody by sharing a picture with him, while TV host Jewel Mary posted a photo she had specially taken to celebrate his victory.

Ramesh Pisharody is a popular figure in the Malayalam entertainment industry. He began his career with the comedy show Cinemala and went on to appear in several television programs as a comedian.
