Haringhata is a Scheduled Caste-reserved Assembly constituency in Nadia district of West Bengal and is one of the seven Assembly segments under the Bangaon (SC) Lok Sabha constituency.
In the 2021 Assembly elections, Haringhata had a total of 2,40,606 electors, with 2,10,874 valid votes cast. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Asim Kumar Sarkar won the seat with 97,666 votes. All India Trinamool Congress candidate Nilima Nag (Mallick) finished second with 82,466 votes, losing by a margin of 15,200 votes.
In the 2016 elections, the constituency had 2,19,310 electors and recorded 1,91,359 valid votes. Trinamool Congress candidate Nilima Nag (Mallick) won the seat with 94,530 votes. Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate Ajoy Das secured 73,181 votes and finished second, losing by 21,349 votes.
In the 2011 elections, Haringhata had 1,87,807 electors and 1,68,580 valid votes were cast. Trinamool Congress candidate Nilima Nag (Mallick) won with 83,366 votes, while Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate Biswajit Paul secured 70,363 votes, losing by 13,003 votes.
