Rajarhat Gopalpur, located in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, is a general category Assembly constituency and one of the seven segments under the Dum Dum Lok Sabha seat.
In the 2021 Assembly elections, the constituency had a total of 2,57,447 electors, with 1,78,723 valid votes cast. Trinamool Congress candidate Aditi Munshi won the seat with 87,650 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Samik Bhattacharya finished second with 62,354 votes, losing by a margin of 25,296 votes.
In the 2016 Assembly elections, Rajarhat Gopalpur had 2,29,140 electors and recorded 1,64,314 valid votes. Trinamool Congress candidate Purnendu Basu won with 72,793 votes. Communist Party of India (Marxist) candidate Nepaldeb Bhattacharjee secured 65,919 votes and lost by 6,874 votes.
During the 2011 Assembly elections, the constituency had 1,92,748 electors and 1,50,327 valid votes. Trinamool Congress candidate Purnendu Basu won the seat with 89,829 votes, while CPI(M) candidate Rabindra Nath Mandal came second with 54,104 votes, losing by 35,725 votes.
