Suti is one of the Assembly constituencies in West Bengal, located in Murshidabad district and forming part of the Jangipur Lok Sabha seat. A general category constituency, it has witnessed notable political shifts in recent elections, reflecting changing voter alignments in the region.
In the 2021 Assembly elections, Suti had 265,418 registered electors, of whom 216,328 cast valid votes. The seat was won by Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Emani Biswas, who secured 127,351 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Koushik Das finished second with 56,650 votes, trailing by a margin of 70,701 votes.
In the 2016 Assembly elections, the constituency had an electorate of 221,740, with 188,222 valid votes recorded, reflecting a turnout of 84.91 per cent. Indian National Congress candidate Humayun Reza won the seat with 84,017 votes. TMC candidate Emani Biswas came second with 80,067 votes, losing by a narrow margin of 3,950 votes.
