Dubrajpur (SC) is a Scheduled Caste Assembly constituency located in West Bengal’s Birbhum district. It is one of the seven Assembly segments that fall under the Birbhum Lok Sabha constituency.
At present, Anup Kumar Saha of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the sitting MLA from Dubrajpur. He won the seat in the 2021 Assembly election by securing 47.94 per cent of the total votes polled. He was followed by the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) candidate, who received 46.06 per cent of the votes.
Earlier, the constituency was won by Chandra Naresh Bauri of AITC in 2016. In 2011, Bijoy Bagdi of the All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) had secured victory in the seat.
The election record shows that Dubrajpur (SC) has witnessed changes in political representation over the years, reflecting close contests and shifting voter preferences in the constituency.
