Kalapet Assembly Election Results 2026
Kalapet assembly seat is represented by BJP's PML Kalyanasundaram, who won the 2021 Puducherry assembly election by 3,508 votes against independent A Senthil Ramesh. Kalyanasundaram won in 2011 as well, as a candidate of the All India NR Congress, while in 2016, Kalapet was won by MOHF Shahjahan of the Congress. In 2021, Kalapet had 33,192 registered electors, of whom 29,298 cast their votes. Assembly elections for all 30 constituencies in Puducherry are expected to be conducted in April.
