Attingal (SC) Assembly constituency is an SC-reserved seat in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, encompassing Attingal town and rural panchayats like Anjengo, Chirayinkeezhu, and Kattakada areas with rubber plantations and coastal communities shaping its politics. The current MLA is O.S. Ambika from CPI(M), elected in 2021 with 69,898 votes (47.7per cent), defeating BJP's Adv. P. Sudheer (38,262 votes, 26.1per cent) by a margin of 31,636 votes (21.6per cent), while RCP's Adv. A. Sreedharan got 36,938 votes (25.2per cent).
