Angamaly Assembly Election Results 2026
Angamaly Assembly constituency is located in Ernakulam district of Kerala and is numbered 75 among the 140 constituencies in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. It was formed in 1965 and is a general (unreserved) seat. Angamaly falls under the Chalakudy Lok Sabha constituency. The seat has traditionally witnessed contests between the Indian National Congress (INC)-led United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Left Democratic Front (LDF), with the Congress holding significant influence in recent years. In the 2021 Kerala Assembly election, Roji M J . Key issues in Angamaly include traffic congestion and road infrastructure, given its location along the National Highway corridor, as well as flood management, waste disposal, and urban development. Proximity to Kochi and the airport has increased pressure on civic amenities, making infrastructure expansion and employment opportunities central electoral concerns.
