"When we tracked the recovery, an arms linkage to Pakistan also surfaced. Gangster Mayank Singh was deported to India from Azerbaijan. He told the police about this Glock pistol being used in the organised crime network of Rahul Singh, having arms linkage to Pakistan," SP added.
In Latehar, two gangsters carried out organised crimes. Both are at large. “One is Rahul Dubey (35) from Ramgarh district. The other is Rahul Singh (25) from Latehar district. These two were the hitmen of Aman Sahu, who was felled by police in Palamu this year.
After Aman’s encounter, both Rahuls have formed their own gang,” said the district police chief.
On the number of criminals in each of the two gangs, Gaurav said, "The gang has a floating number and keeps changing," he said. Asked which gang is more formidable of the two, Gaurav said, "Dubey gang is far stronger. We are determined to nail down the organised crime network further. We seek the public cooperation in this fight," he signed off.
