Russian drone attacks struck deep into Ukraine’s critical civilian infrastructure overnight, hitting ports, foreign-flagged vessels and rail networks across multiple regions. According to Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba, continuous strikes damaged grain elevators, warehouses and port facilities in the Odesa region, with ships flying the flags of Slovakia and Palau among those hit. In Mykolaiv, a Liberian-flagged vessel was damaged at a port terminal, while rail infrastructure at Kovel station in Volyn region suffered blast damage. Despite fires, power disruptions and logistical setbacks, Ukrainian authorities say transport and supply systems remain operational.
