Garhwa Fire Guts Cloth Store and House, Rs 20 Lakh Loss Reported

Garhwa: A cloth store and a house, owned by one Jamuna Prasad Gupta and located near Ramna Main Market in Garhwa, were gutted on Friday. The estimated loss is around Rs 20 lakh, police said.Sub-inspector Jai Prakash Gupta, posted with the Ramna police station, rushed to the spot and doused the fire with the help of locals.The officer in-charge of the Ramna police station, Aakash Kumar, said, “The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Investigation into the case is under way.”
