Vijayawada: IT and HRD minister Nara Lokesh released the results of APPGECET-2026 through his X account on Thursday, congratulating successful candidates and appreciating the efforts of officials involved in conducting the examination.

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (APPGECET) was conducted by Andhra University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) from April 28 to 30 across six sessions at 26 centres across the state.
According to officials, a total of 12,102 candidates applied for the entrance examination, while 9,990 students appeared for the test. Out of them, 9,320 candidates qualified, recording an impressive overall pass percentage of 93.29 percent.
Among male candidates, 4,464 students appeared and 4,144 qualified, registering a pass percentage of 92.83 percent. Female candidates outperformed their male counterparts with a pass percentage of 93.67 percent. Out of 5,526 female students who appeared for the examination, 5,176 qualified.
The APPGECET examination is conducted for admissions into postgraduate engineering, pharmacy, and technology courses across colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
