Hyderabad: The
Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET)-2026 is scheduled to be conducted from May 28 to May 31 in two sessions daily across Telangana.
The entrance examination, organised by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of the Telangana Council for Higher Education (TGCHE), will cover various streams, including Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT), Pharmacy, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering, and Architecture.
A total of 26,005 candidates have registered for the examination this year. CS and IT recorded the highest number of applications at 10,006, followed by Pharmacy with 8,248 registrations and ECE with 2,703 applications.
Authorities have instructed candidates to reach examination centres well in advance and carry hall tickets along with valid photo identity proof. Biometric verification, including thumb impressions and photograph capture, has been made mandatory at all centres. Electronic gadgets, calculators, and wristwatches have been strictly prohibited inside examination halls.
