A.J. Brown said "I do" this weekend and did it the only way a Super Bowl champ knows how. The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver married Kelsey Riley on May 16 at Montage Laguna Beach, a luxury oceanfront resort in California. Five p.m. ceremony. Pacific Ocean backdrop. Guards blocking walkways. Very private. Very baller.
Inside A.J. Brown’s wedding as fans wonder why Jalen Hurts was absent
Guests pulled up to a violinist playing outside the reception. Dress code? Brown, obviously. Because of course. Darius Slay was right there alongside the groom as one of his groomsmen, repping the Eagles faithful. Mini lobster rolls and mini tacos kept the party going well past 9 p.m. Security was airtight the whole night.
But the moment everyone's talking about? Brown's son, Arthur Juan Jr., aka Deuce, walked into the reception holding a handful of Skittles someone had handed him right before his entrance. The crowd went crazy. Honestly, that might have been the highlight of the whole night.
Brown's daughter, Jersee, from a previous relationship, was also there. Full family moment.
Who is Kelsey Riley?
If you don't know her by now, here's the rundown. Riley is from Louisiana, played softball at Texas Southern University, and works as a patient access representative at St.
Luke's Medical Center in Houston. She and Brown went public in early 2022 and welcomed Deuce that September.
She's been quiet, consistent, and clearly not here for the spotlight. It's surprising to see someone so low-key end up at the center of one of the flashiest NFL weddings of the year but here we are.
Brown proposed in May 2025 at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia. He hired John Legend to perform live. In front of friends and family. That's the bar he set. Seems safe to say Kelsey knew what she was signing up for.
Where was Jalen Hurts at A.J. Brown’s wedding?
Here's where it gets interesting. Hurts and Brown go way back, Hurts literally tried to recruit him to Alabama before they ended up teammates in the NFL. But Hurts was nowhere in the wedding photos. Not spotted among the groomsmen. Not seen at the reception.
And this isn't the first time. He skipped Brown's engagement party last year, too, even as several other current and former Eagles showed up. It's a pattern at this point, and with trade rumors linking Brown to the New England Patriots ahead of the June 1 deadline, people are connecting dots fast.
That's right. Brown just got married and might be packing boxes for Boston next month. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported it's still the expectation that Philly ships him to New England after June 1.
