Hubballi: Former chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) AS Kiran Kumar inaugurated the academic activities of the new engineering college of Future Forge Engineering Academy at the KH Patil College campus of Vemana Vidyavardhaka Sangha in Vidyanagar Hubballi on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters, Kiran Kumar said that in today’s competitive era, all fields, including science and technology, were growing rapidly and everyone should develop their skills accordingly. He said technology was constantly advancing and innovation was coming in everything. He said, “We need to increase our level of education and get used to innovation.” He warned, “If the youth does not adapt to technology, it is inevitable to lose their jobs.”
Kiran Kumar said that a person should first understand himself and realise his potential. He said it was very important to know how to adapt ourselves to the changing world, and that developing multiple talents was being given importance today. He said that a revolution was taking place in the field of AI technology, and if we understand it, achievement would be easier.
He said that since 1947, there were many developments in the field of information technology and research.
He also praised Isro for its outstanding achievements in rocket launching, lunar missions, weather anomalies, atmosphere and understanding current affairs.
