Agartala: Tripura chief minister Manik Saha inaugurated an exhibition in Agartala on Tuesday, spotlighting three new criminal laws set to revolutionise the judicial system. As the only state in India to host such an exhibition, Tripura is positioning itself at the forefront of legal reforms.During the event at the Indoor Exhibition Hall, Saha, who also serves as the home minister, underscored the critical need for timely justice, warning that delays could undermine public confidence in the legal system. He highlighted the transformative nature of the laws, introduced under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership on July 1, 2024, and approved by Parliament.Saha shared insights from a key discussion in Guwahati with Union home minister Amit Shah, where implementation strategies were outlined.The five-day exhibition aims to educate the public on these laws, which simplify legal processes and enhance efficiency.
