Tiruchengodu Assembly constituency is located in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu and forms part of the Namakkal Lok Sabha constituency. AIADMK candidate Saraswathi Pon secured victory with 73,103 votes, defeating DMK candidate Elangoavan Bar, who polled 69,713 votes. Earlier, in the 2011 Assembly elections, Tiruchengodu had 1,82,669 electors, with 1,49,845 valid votes recorded. Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) candidate Sampathkumar P won the seat with 78,103 votes, defeating Indian National Congress candidate Sundaram M R, who secured 54,158 votes. The winning margin stood at 23,945 votes, reflecting the influence of regional parties during that election cycle.
