Bandra gets Bimal Roy Path

MUMBAI: January 8 was a much-awaited day for the family of the late film-maker Bimal Roy. A lane in Bandra (west) adjoining Mount Mary Road has been officially named as the ‘Bimal Roy Path’. The date marks the 51st st death anniversary of the applauded film maker. The lane which is being named after the film veteran is opposite to the place where he lived from 1953-1966.
