Nepal is burning. A Gen Z-led protest against corruption and a sweeping social media ban has exploded into bloodshed. At least 9 protesters are dead, 40+ injured, and Kathmandu is under curfew after police opened fire on youths storming Parliament. With slogans like “Shut down corruption, not social media,” students and young citizens have launched what many are calling a Gen Z Revolution. The Oli government has issued a shoot-at-sight order, triggering global alarm. Is this the beginning of a youth uprising that could change South Asia’s future?
