Marine Le Pen delivered a blistering attack on Prime Minister François Bayrou during a crucial confidence vote in the French Parliament. The National Rally leader dismissed Bayrou’s administration as a “phantom government” that produced just five legislative texts in eight months, three of them tied to Mayotte. Le Pen accused ministers of being “invisible” and failing to govern effectively. She condemned France’s leadership class, declaring the system was collapsing and its legitimacy lost. Comparing failed leaders to “born-again evangelists” seeking redemption, Le Pen charged that both left and right were guilty of betraying the French people’s trust. Watch
