From the BRICS virtual summit platform, India delivered a pointed message on global trade practices. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar emphasized the need for fair, inclusive, and transparent trade — warning against rising trade barriers and the politicization of economic frameworks. India also urged BRICS members to introspect on internal trade deficits, highlighting that some of India's biggest trade gaps lie within the bloc itself, calling for timely redressal. Watch
