China Reveals It Turned Down U.S. Request For Defence Talks Before SCO Summit | Watch

China has revealed it rejected a U.S. proposal for defence talks just ahead of the high-profile SCO Summit in Tianjin. Beijing cited a lack of mutual trust and questioned Washington’s intentions. Spokesperson Lin Jian addressed the issue in Beijing, also criticizing U.S. sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction. This comes as President Xi Jinping met with Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi, further sidelining the U.S. in the evolving global order. Watch
