Pilibhit police rank first in public grievance disposal in UP

Pilibhit: Pilibhit police secured the top rank among 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh for the disposal of public grievances filed at all 17 police stations in the district under the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) for April.SP Sukirti Madhav said on Wednesday that all police stations in the district scored full marks on the review parameters set by the state government. He said the evaluation was based on 10 parameters, including the average time taken to process references, pending cases, civilian feedback and closure reports.“The performance of police stations and the department was reviewed in detail at the state level,” the SP said.He added that officials and staff handling IGRS work at the district headquarters, circle offices and police stations were awarded certificates and cash prizes to encourage them.
