India-Bound Ship Attacked In Hormuz, Crew Missing After Desperate Escape From Burning Vessel

A Thai cargo vessel, Mayuree Naree, was struck by a projectile while passing through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, sparking a fire and forcing crew members to abandon ship. The vessel had departed Khalifa Port and was heading toward Kandla Port when the attack occurred. According to the Royal Thai Navy, twenty crew members were rescued after jumping into the sea as flames engulfed the vessel, while three sailors remain missing. The incident comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, raising fears that the conflict could disrupt one of the world’s most critical maritime energy corridors. Watch
