NBA drub Mastan YMCA
MUMBAI: Nagpada Basketball Association (NBA) took advantage of a porous defence to thrash Mastan YMCA 68-54, in the junior boys under-20 super league match of Savio Cup All-India basketball tournament on Thursday.Taking advantage of an early 23-8 lead theNBA lads kept the opposition under pressure forcing them to throw away sitters.Mastan on the other hand tried to work on teamwork and snailed to 42-45 in thethird quarter, only to waste the fine chance on hand thanks to a weak defenceand a dubious rate of conversion.For the winners Fardeen Khanexcelled with 14 points followed closely by Arafat Memon at 13. For MastanSalman Shaikh managed 16.
