'GREAT DAMAGE': Trump Confirms Iranian Missile Attack On U.S. Navy; Pleads Again For Deal To End War
US President Donald Trump spoke on the latest attacks on Iran. Asked during a visit to see renovations of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, if the Iran ceasefire was still on despite the attacks, Trump said: “Yeah it is. They trifled with us today. We blew them away. They trifled. I call that a trifle.” Trump also told reporters that the US is negotiating with Iran. Trump added that the three US Navy destroyers transited out of the Strait of Hormuz were not damaged but “great damage was done to Iranian attackers.” Earlier on Truth Social, Trump wrote that the US attacked Iranian seacraft that fired at US Navy ships. “A normal country would have allowed these destroyers to pass, but Iran is not a normal country. They are led by LUNATICS, and if they had the chance to use a nuclear weapon, they would do it, without question,” he wrote.
