Iran Navy Attacks 3 U.S Warships; Missile Hellfire In Hormuz Unleashed To Avenge Bandar Abbas Strike

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed it launched a massive retaliatory attack on three American destroyers using anti-ship ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and suicide drones after accusing Washington of attacking an Iranian oil tanker near Jask and violating the ceasefire. According to Iran, the attack caused “significant damage” to US forces and forced American warships to retreat from the area. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) later confirmed that Iranian missiles, drones and fast boats targeted USS Truxtun, USS Rafael Peralta and USS Mason as the destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz. However, CENTCOM insisted that all incoming threats were intercepted and that no US assets were hit.
