HPBOSE 10th Result 2026 Live Updates: Class 10 marks releases soon; how to check, past year trends and direct link to scorecard

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 (Matric) Result 2026 soon, bringing anticipation among lakhs of students who appeared for the examination this year. The result, once declared, will be made available online through the official HPBOSE website, allowing students to access their scorecards using their roll numbers.

The online marksheet will contain key academic details including subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, division (first, second, or third), and qualifying status. However, students must note that the online result will be provisional in nature. The original mark sheets and certificates will be distributed later through respective schools, as per the board’s official schedule.

Over the past five years, HPBOSE Class 10 results have shown fluctuating trends in pass percentages, reflecting varying academic performance levels across different examination cycles. In 2025, a total of 95,495 regular students appeared for the matric examination, and the overall pass percentage stood at 79.8%. This marked a relatively stable performance compared to previous years but still indicated room for improvement.

In 2024, the pass percentage dropped to 74.61%, with 91,130 students appearing for the examination. This was one of the lower performance years in the recent timeline. In contrast, 2023 witnessed a significant improvement, with the pass percentage rising sharply to 89.7%. The year 2022 also recorded a strong performance at 87.5%, showing a comparatively consistent academic output during that period.

The highest recorded pass percentage in recent years was seen in 2021, when an exceptional 99.7% of the 1,31,902 students successfully cleared the examination. This unusually high result remains a standout year in the board’s recent academic history.

For 2026, students and stakeholders are keenly awaiting the official announcement date, especially considering last year’s results were declared on May 15, 2025. While the board has not confirmed the exact date yet, the result is expected to be released shortly on the official portal.

Once declared, students will be able to check their results online by visiting the official HPBOSE website, navigating to the results section, and entering their roll number in the login window. After accessing the result, students are advised to carefully verify all details mentioned on the scorecard. In case of discrepancies, they should immediately contact their respective school authorities for correction and further guidance.
