Bengaluru horror: Ex-husband attacks woman with knife in broad daylight; chilling CCTV footage surfaces

BENGALURU: A woman narrowly escaped a knife attack after her ex-husband allegedly attempted to assault her in the middle of a road in Bengaluru.Alert youngsters at the spot intervened in time, overpowered the accused and rescued the woman.The incident reportedly took place under the limits of the Madanayakanahalli Police. The accused has been identified as Sanjay.According to preliminary information, Sanjay allegedly confronted his former wife on the road and tried to attack her with a knife following a dispute. As the woman raised an alarm, a group of youngsters nearby rushed to her aid, overpowered the accused and allegedly thrashed him before restraining him and alerting the police.A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
