Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh RSS will organise its Western Region-level Karyakarta Vikas Varga-1 at KCE Society's MJ College in
Jalgaon from May 10 to May 30, with about 300 volunteers from Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat expected to join the 21-day residential training camp.
RSS officials state that the annual training programme focuses on the comprehensive development of volunteers through physical, intellectual and organisational training, including sessions on physical fitness, management skills, discipline, service activities and ideological orientation.
Participants adhere to a strict daily schedule starting at 4:30 am and ending at 10 pm. Along with physical exercises and intellectual sessions, they receive training in ghosh vadana, and a saghosh sanchalan takes place within the camp during the programme. Organisers plan to conduct the camp in an eco-friendly manner, focusing on reducing plastic use and promoting environmental conservation.
Senior RSS leaders, including Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, Sah-Sarkaryavah Arun Kumar and Mangesh Bhende, are expected to mentor participants during the camp. Sudhir Chaporkar is designated as the vargadhikari for the event.
