Hyderabad: Nearly two-months after Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths filed a chargesheet in the Formula E case, in which ₹55 crore was diverted in violation of rules to UK-based Formula E Organisation (FEO), ACB court on Thursday issued notices to former MA&UD minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao, suspended special chief secretary
Arvind Kumar and three other accused.
The other two non-government officials who were cited as accused in the case are FEO representative Alberto Longo and director of Ace Nxt Gen Kiran Rao. They too were summoned.
ACB alleged that after Ace Nxt backed out after sponsporing the 1st edition of race in Hyderabad, on the alleged instructions given by then minister KTR to make government take the responsibility to sponsor the 2nd edition of race in city, Arvind and BLN Reddy transferred ₹44 crore to FEO and the remaining ₹10 cr as taxes, in violation of laid down procedures.
