Youth dies of ‘drug overdose’ in Mansa, lens on 2 suspects

Bathinda: A 20-year-old youth died of alleged drug overdose in Mansa, and police are suspecting the role of two persons in providing the drugs. "Navdeep Singh of Mansa died of alleged drug overdose late Friday, and his father, Jaspal Singh filed a complaint with the police on Saturday morning," said a source.Jaspal Singh in his complaint stated that some persons provided drugs to his son, due to which he died. Mansa DSP Harjinder Singh said that, acting on the complaint filed by Singh, police are investigating the role of two suspects as a case under charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder was registered.
