Hours after filing police complaint, woman poisons self, 3 kids in Haryana; 2 dead

BY- Manoj DhakaSONIPAT: A woman and her five-year-old son have died after she allegedly poisoned her three children before consuming the substance herself in the Kharkhoda area of Sonipat. Her two daughters, aged 9 and 12, are in critical condition at a hospital in Delhi.Police said the woman in her early 30s took this step just a few hours after visiting the Saidpur police outpost on Tuesday to file a complaint against a local youth. In her complaint, she accused him of harassment and of threatening to kill her children. While her son passed away on Tuesday, the woman died on Wednesday. Police said she did not leave behind a suicide note. Police have registered a case against the accused youth based on the woman's complaint and are investigating whether his alleged threats led to her actions. However, the woman's husband told the police that she had been struggling with mental instability and emotional stress for some time. A police official said a multi-dimensional probe is currently underway, involving forensic analysis and statements from family members. No arrests have been made so far.
