A Vietnam-flagged LPG tanker NV Sunshine carrying 46,000 tonnes of cooking gas has safely crossed the Strait of Hormuz and is headed to New Mangalore, marking the 13th India-bound vessel to complete the transit amid West Asia tensions. Another LPG tanker, Symi, had crossed earlier, taking the total to 12. These vessels are part of India’s 41-ship evacuation plan from the Persian Gulf, with coordinated support from multiple agencies including the Indian Navy to ensure uninterrupted energy supply.
