A violent clash during a Ramdhun procession in Bihar's Sheikhpura district left seven family members injured, including a differently-abled youth. The altercation reportedly began when the youth, on a tricycle, requested space in a narrow lane. The dispute escalated, leading to an attack with sticks and stones, critically injuring two individuals.

Authorities have taken home guard Satish Kumar into custody as part of their investigation into illegal financial activities linked to the Bokaro district treasury, which has seen a staggering Rs 1.06 crore misappropriated. Kumar, who served within the accounts division of the Bokaro Superintendent of Police's office, is identified as a co-conspirator of the main perpetrator, accountant Kaushal Kumar Pandey.
