NEW DELHI: Nida Khan, an accused in the Nashik TCS case, has been taken into custody from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Maharashtra, police said on Thursday.Khan was wanted in the case of alleged sexual harassment and forcible religious conversion at the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).The court had earlier rejected her anticipatory bail. According to the FIR, Khan advised women employees to “dress and behave in accordance with Islamic traditions.” She had sought pre-arrest bail citing her pregnancy.According to Nashik Police, Khan was apprehended by police teams in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar as part of the ongoing investigation into the case, news agency ANI reported. “Nida Khan, one of the accused in the Nashik TCS case, has been taken into custody from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Further legal action is underway,” Nashik police said in a statement.Officials have not yet disclosed further details regarding the allegations against Khan or the circumstances surrounding the arrest.Police said additional legal proceedings and investigation in the case are currently under way.
