Dhupguri election result 2026: BJP's Naresh Chandra Roy defeated TMC's Dr. Nirmal Chandra Roy by 38,550 votes

Naresh Chandra won by securing 1,34,798 votes while Nirmal Roy got 96,248 votes. In 2026, the candidates include Dr. Nirmal Chandra Roy of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Naresh Chandra Roy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Harish Chandra Roy of the Congress.In the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, the constituency was won by Bishnu Pada Ray of the BJP by a narrow margin of 3,948 votes over the TMC, highlighting a sharply divided voter base.
