Bihar STET 2025 application: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially started the online application process for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply through the official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com, starting from September 8, 2025.The last date to submit the online application form for STET 2025 is September 16, 2025. This examination is mandatory for candidates aspiring to teach in secondary and higher secondary government schools in Bihar.Lifetime validity for STET 2025 certificateCandidates who qualify in the STET 2025 will receive a certificate with lifetime validity. This certificate will make candidates eligible to apply for the fourth phase of teacher recruitment, known as BPSC TRE-4, scheduled to be held in December 2025.The STET 2025 examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) format from October 4 to October 25, 2025. BSEB has announced that the results will be declared on November 1, 2025, enabling timely eligibility for TRE-4.Age limit and relaxation criteriaThe maximum age limit for applying to STET 2025 is 37 years. However, female candidates and those belonging to BC and MBC categories are given a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit.
Exam structure and subject detailsSTET 2025 will consist of two papers — Paper 1 for secondary level and Paper 2 for higher secondary level. Both papers will have 150 questions in total, including 100 questions from the subject opted and 50 marks from teacher aptitude and related competencies.
