The skies over the Black Sea turned into a high-stakes battleground of surveillance and counter-surveillance as the U.S. deployed its advanced ARTEMIS II reconnaissance jet. The aircraft, tracked from Romania, reportedly patrolled deep over the Black Sea, sparking questions about its mission. Russian experts claim the jet was mapping command signals and troop systems, while U.S. officials remained tight-lipped. The deployment comes just hours after Russia launched its largest drone blitz of the war in Ukraine, firing over 800 Iranian-designed Shahed drones and multiple missiles.
