Water Bill Complaints To Now Be Resolved At Zone Offices Itself
Nagpur: To resolve citizen complaints regarding water bills, NMC's water supply department has planned a two-day camp at every zone office on May 9 and 10, from 10.30 am to 5 pm. During a standing committee meeting, members had suggested holding two-day camp to resolve water bill-related complaints. Accordingly, standing panel chairperson Shivani Dana-Wakhare directed the department to organise the camps.Under the guidance of mayor Neeta Thakre, water supply special committee chairperson Divya Dhurde, and vice-chairperson Vijay Zalke, the department finalised the programme and has prepared a standard operating procedure (SOP) for this purpose.Senior officers of the water supply department will resolve complaints at Laxmi Nagar, Dharampeth, Hanuman Nagar, Dhantoli, Nehru Nagar, Gandhibagh, Satranjipura, Lakadganj, Ashi Nagar and Mangalwari zones on May 9 and 10, from 10.30 am to 5 pm. Superintending engineer of public health engineering department Shweta Banerjee has appealed to citizens to avail themselves of this opportunity in maximum numbers.
