Washim: On Sunday afternoon, a major scuffle broke out among vehicle owners at a fuel station near Akola Naka in Washim city. According to sources, a heated argument erupted among customers. The dispute soon escalated into a violent clash, with some individuals allegedly attacking each other using fuel cans. Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.Residents continue to suffer from a severe shortage of diesel, and petrol in Washim, leading to long queues of vehicles outside petrol pumps across the district. The fuel crisis has created major inconvenience for farmers, vehicle owners, and transport operators.Due to the ongoing diesel shortage, several petrol pumps in the district are reportedly running out of stock, causing panic among motorists and farmers. Large crowds have been gathering at fuel stations in hopes of getting diesel supplies.The Petrol Pump Association has appealed to citizens and vehicle owners to remain patient, assuring that diesel supply is expected to normalize within the next two to three days.
