Mumbai: The Colaba police detained a Panvel resident for allegedly making threat calls to two five-star hotels in south Mumbai. The calls were made at 9.30 pm on Tuesday. Soon after receiving the phone calls, the police were informed. A non-cognisable offence has been registered with the police. Using technical intelligence, the Colaba police traced and detained a person, Santosh Sawant, a resident of Vichumbe village in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. He was brought to the police station. " We are currently interrogating the accused," police said. They are also checking if he was involved in any previous crime.
