Udupi DAR cop dies after year‑long cancer battle

Udupi: Nagesh M, ARSI with the District Armed Reserve (DAR), Udupi, who had been suffering from health issues, passed away on Thursday. He was 52. He had been battling cancer for the past year.A native of Padmanooru in Kinnigoli near Mangaluru, Nagesh was residing in Udupi. He joined the DAR in Mangaluru on Oct 10, 1996, and was later transferred to Udupi after the formation of the new district. He was promoted as ARSI on Dec 17, 2016.He is survived by his wife and two children.
