Nod for first pvt veterinary college in Pune div
Kolhapur: Shri Warana Vibhag Shikshan Mandal has received approval to establish the first private veterinary and animal sciences institute in the Pune division, marking a significant addition to Maharashtra's higher education and veterinary infrastructure.The ministry of fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying recently issued the letter of permission for the establishment of the Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Veterinary and Animal Science. The institute has been granted an approved intake capacity of 80 students.Announcing the development, Vinay Kore, MLA and chairman of the Warana Industrial and Educational Complex, said the approval followed extensive inspections by expert committees from the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and the Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur."The approval was granted after rigorous inspections conducted by expert committees of Veterinary Council of India (VCI) and Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur. The committees verified the availability of modern infrastructure, advanced laboratories, a veterinary teaching hospital, qualified faculty members and trained staff before granting recognition," Kore said.
