GUWAHATI: An alleged case of a murder-suicide, involving a minor, was reported from Guwahati's Borbari area on Sunday morning after police recovered two bodies from a homestay. The deceased have been identified as a 15-yr-old boy and a 36-year-old man named Makibur Rahman.According to Guwahati deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Amitabh Basumatary, the boy had left his home on Saturday morning and did not return, prompting his parents to file a missing person complaint at the police station. An initial investigation revealed that the boy was acquainted with Rahman, a taxi driver. Using a GPS tracker on Rahman's rented vehicle, police were able to trace them to the homestay.Basumatary said Rahman had booked a room on Friday, claiming to be a medical patient. Upon arriving at the scene, officers saw the boy lying on the bed in a pool of blood and Rahman hanging from the ceiling.
