Islamic scholar and Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Mahmood Madani has clarified his stance on his perceived differences with AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Addressing the matter, Madani stressed that disagreement should not be mistaken for hostility or rivalry. “Having differences doesn’t mean total opposition. Everyone, including the Prime Minister, must understand that raising objections or expressing disagreement does not make someone an adversary,” he remarked. Emphasizing that he is not an opponent of Owaisi, Madani acknowledged that while he disagrees with certain policies, he does not view Owaisi as a rival. His remarks underline the role of constructive dissent in strengthening democratic dialogue.
