AR recovers arms & ammo in Manipur’s Senapati dist

Guwahati: Assam Rifles recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition during a well-planned operation in the Maranmei Hill range of Manipur’s Senapati district on Thursday.The recovery by 16 Assam Rifles was based on inputs from Assam Rifles Field Intelligence Unit (ARFIU) and 3 CIB, further corroborated by own sources.The weapons recovered include one AK-47 rifle with magazine, one MP-5 rifle with magazine, one .303 rifle with magazine, two .22 rifles with magazines, four locally made bolt-action rifles, three .32 pistols with magazines, two .22 pistols with magazines and one locally made shotgun.
