Teen strangled to death in south Delhi's Bhati Mines; two minors questioned
NEW DELHI: A 13-year-old boy was allegedly strangled to death in south Delhi’s Bhati Mines area, police said on Wednesday. The victim was a Class 9 student, had gone out to play with friends on Tuesday evening but failed to return home, following which his family lodged a missing complaint. During a search operation, police recovered his body from a nearby forested area. Police are currently questioning two juveniles in connection with the case. The incident led to protests in the locality, as family members and residents gathered outside the Sanjay Colony police post, demanding strict action. The protesters also briefly blocked a road before police intervened and brought the situation under control.
